is a favoured sport in Cuba and the offers are limitless. Sport,
shark, deep-sea and all other types of fishing are available from
almost any coastal point on the island.
For as little at 25 USD you can
be sea bound on a luxury fishing boat in search of that immortal
"shot with the shark". Both Varadero and Havana have excellent
facilities for both the novice and more mature angler.

Boats leave daily and often return
with excellent catches of:
Sharks, snappers, bonefish, striped
bass, and tuna. Fish as large as 70-kg (150-lb) sailfish and
tarpon, and 225-kg (500-lb) marlin, black marlin and wahoo to
name but a few.
